Happy New Year! Looking back, December was surprisingly laid-back and organised for once. This month’s post is entirely imageless (oops!), but I’m chatting about enjoying Minecraft on my new PC, dealing with a pesky bout of tendinitis, lovely birthday celebrations, and navigating a quiet Christmas while on my weight loss journey.
When Marc asked for a handmade Secret Santa gift for a fellow Pokémon Professor with an “Eeveelutions” theme, I knew I had a challenge on my hands! I decided to turn a detailed image into an intricate book fold. It required weeks of patient folding and a lot of careful colouring to finally bring all those different characters to life, but I am so happy with how this colourful project turned out.
When I agreed to make Pikachu Christmas cards for Marc’s fellow Pokémon Professors, I didn’t realize exactly what I was getting myself into. What started as a simple Cricut project quickly turned into an epic, multi-layered jigsaw puzzle challenge!
November felt like a quiet, in-between month, but it still brought some bright moments. From colourful Pokémon crafting to a long-awaited cinema trip and a surprise new PC, there were plenty of little highlights tucked in among the slower days. Here’s a quick look back at how the month unfolded.
This festive Santa Cut and Fold Book was a joy to create — a cheerful Christmas design that folds beautifully into the pages of a pre-loved book. Perfect for adding a touch of handmade magic to the holiday season.
October was a whirlwind of creativity, confidence, and a little bit of chaos! From taking part in my first-ever craft fair and giving my Etsy shop a complete makeover, to starting new book projects and even trying my hand at penpalling — it’s been a busy month full of growth, gratitude, and a few exciting new adventures.
A surprise bouquet turned into an afternoon of quiet creativity as I explored each bloom through my macro lens. From the bold orange lily to the soft blush petals of a tiny mystery flower, every shot revealed beautiful textures and details that reminded me why I love macro photography so much.
I’ve always loved anything that sparkles, so one of the highlights of my year is when Light Night Leeds rolls around each October. The city transforms into a glowing playground of colour, creativity, and sound ...
A handmade Pokémon wedding gift that’s truly one of a kind! 💍
This custom folded book features Shinx and Bulbasaur, chosen especially for the bride and groom. With a clean, simple design and heartfelt details, it’s a beautiful way to say “I choose you!” — and a perfect example of how love (and creativity) always finds a way to evolve.
A sweet and serene little project that stole my heart — this Floral Fox design was simple to make but turned out beautifully. The fine floral detailing and soft expression of the fox make this one of my favourite cut and fold books yet.
